East End

Welcome to the East End

A traditional, suburban community away from the city

This suburban, country club community is known for its big homes with private amenities. Located east of the Gene Snyder Freeway, this area is far from the hustle and bustle of the city, but offers its own unique “hustle”.  Many neighborhoods in this community, including Lake Forest, Polo Fields, Beckley Station, English Station, Locust Creek and Copper Fields feature their own golf courses, swim clubs and club houses for residents to utilize.

What to Love

  • Beautiful homes
  • Lots of green space
  • Convenient location

Dining

This neighborhood has several unique dining options. The Goat has a cool atmosphere with pub fares, music by local bands and gaming leagues. The Blind Squirrel is a one-of-a-kind sports bar that features outdoor volleyball games, indoor virtual golf, live music and great food. You can dine inside or out on their large patio near cozy fire pits. Another great dining option is Gander, an American grill with excellent food and service.

Things to Do

If you love golf, this area of town is perfect for you. In addition to the community golf courses like Lake Forest and Polo Fields, this area boasts Valhalla Golf Club, a premier championship golf course which has hosted the PGA on three separate occasions.

Get outside and enjoy the outdoors at Long Run Park, which includes basketball and tennis courts, fishing and boating, trails for biking and horseback riding and a playground/sprayground for the kids.

For a family-filled day of fun, check out Renaissance Fun Park. This awesome adventure park includes go-karts, mini golf, laser tag and arcade.
