Dining

Germantown and Paristown Pointe feature a vast array of local restaurants that cater to the history of the area. Eiderdown is a great place for authentic German-American fare. For something a little more funky, check out the dive Nachbar, which means “neighbor” in German. For down home southern cooking, the Café is another great food option.

Sunergos Coffee and Nords Bakery both have their upbringing in Schnitzelburg, as well as Checks Cafe and Monnik, a local brewery and restaurant. Schniztelburg is a pocket niche within Germantown where everything you could want is within a few hundred yards, and resides in the shadows of University of Louisville campus.
