Andrew Beckman began his real estate career in 2018 after a successful tenure as an Assistant Commonwealth Attorney for Jefferson County, where he served in both the Narcotics and Homicide Units. His background as a trial attorney provides a distinctive skill set that benefits clients at every stage of the real estate transaction.
Since transitioning to real estate, Andrew has closed more than $200 million in sales and ranks among the top 50 realtors in Louisville—placing him in the top 0.02% of agents in the market. His entry into the industry began as an investor, owning and operating rental properties in the Louisville area. When his rental income surpassed his salary as an assistant state’s attorney, Andrew made the decision to leave public service and pursue real estate full time.
As a professional realtor, Andrew views his role as that of a fiduciary advisor—analyzing market conditions, identifying opportunities, and helping clients achieve real estate goals that often extend beyond the purchase or sale of a primary residence. His commitment to delivering exceptional value has enabled him to build a strong professional network and has been a key driver of his success.
Andrew earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Louisville, along with a Master’s Degree in Civic Leadership. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Murray State University, where he competed as a Division I cross-country athlete. He is also an alumnus of Louisville’s Male High School.
Outside of work, Andrew enjoys spending time with his family, exploring Louisville’s Olmsted Parks, visiting the Louisville Zoo and Science Center, and gathering with friends and family. He is married to Kellie Beckman, in-house counsel for Appriss Retail, and together they have three children: Davis, Parker, and James. At home, Andrew jokingly refers to their family as a corporate suite—with Kellie as CEO and Andrew as COO.
